I love pretty packaging and will often buy something simply for the box. The idea of things fitting neatly inside a box, nicely wrapped and pretty appeals to me.

so when I recently felt God calling me to do something I immediatly started planning , thinking and 'boxing'. Yet I have learnt that sometimes God wants us to colour outside the lines, to let Him direct and orchistrate things that fit into His perfect plan even though they may be too big or the wrong shape to fit in our little box. Sometimes we have to let go of our precious ideas and of what we think is expected of us and let God guide us. We are all designed, for a purpose - we all have talents and giftings that are unique to us.

Let us stop trying to fit into our box (or other peoples) and just let our giftings overflow and bring glory to God.

The last few weeks I have had numerous discussions with various friends about dating non-Christians. Until recently I have been all for it - my reasoning - well you never know what God is doing and how or when He is going to soften peoples hearts and draw them near to Him. Sure I have always believed that you need someone similar to you, someone who has biblical qualities like integrity, is respectful of your beliefs and boundaries, is a good communicator etc. but I didn’t feel they really had to be totally sold out on God just because I am. Each to their own and hopefully one day they will come to know the lord. Early this year I went through a storm where I did not tell even my closest friends for a couple of weeks. I saw eagles rising up and flying over South Africa. Singing unique sounds, united as one voice. As they sang and flew higher, feathers were falling, weighted by gold dust/glitter, they landed on South Africa. I was reminded, that we carry the very DNA of heaven, we are created IN HIS IMAGE. What we decree and declare releases heavenly DNA over our land. We are created to overflow - living water! As the gold dust and feathers touched the earth, the earth became full and the words we spoke began to take root, other eagle songs released "character words" that grew, multiplied and were fruitful.
